About Us
The Rosholt Record is a local newspaper covering the news of the Village of Rosholt, the surrounding townships, and the people who live here. Rosholt is a village of approximately 500 nestled among farm fields, forest land and lakes in central Wisconsin.
The Rosholt Record was born in December 2007. Local residents Kate Zdroik and Lisa Walder came together with the common desire to create a newspaper that featured the activities of the local clubs, businesses and the Rosholt School District, as well as current and former residents of Rosholt.
The Rosholt Record began carrying the news of the Rosholt School District in 2014 to all residents of the district as a replacement for the quarterly newsletter. In 2016, Wendy Cychosz and Roxanne Filtz stepped up to take over the newspaper.
Published monthly, the Rosholt Record regularly covers local sports, history, business ventures, school activities and obituaries.
Enhanced by the input of friends and neighbors, the Rosholt Record aims to reflect the spirit and hometown feel of the area.
